Funding
Apprenticeships

As of April 2023, national minimum wage for apprentices is £5.28 per hour however many employers choose to pay more especially as skills develop. Are there any additional payments available? An employer will be paid £1,000 for taking on an apprentice who is either:

• Aged 16 to 18 years old

• Under 25 and has an education, health and care plan or has been in the care of their local authority

• Employers with fewer than 50 staff will be entitled to 100% government funding for 16-18 year olds

How To Recruit
An Apprentice

Option 1 – We recruit for you

Step 1: Get in touch with us, discuss your business needs and hear about how we manage the recruitment of the apprentice for you. 

Step 2: We will create a job description for your specific role needed, then once approved by yourself we will advertise the vacancy.

Step 3: We will screen all applicants and those meeting your requirements will be interviewed by us and then sent to you for your own recruitment process.

Step 4: Once a candidate is chosen, contracts are written and the apprentice will start.

Step 5: Once the apprentice begins, you will be allocated a specialist account manager to support you throughout

Option 2 – Recruit an Apprentice yourself

Step 1: We will agree how we can support you in recruiting an apprentice

Step 2: We will interview your candidates to check suitability (this may be from a candidate you have put forward yourself)

Step 3: Apprentice is chosen and your normal recruitment process takes place

Step 4: Once the apprentice begins, you will be allocated a specialist account manager to support you throughout

Automotive

This apprenticeship equips budding talents with the skills and knowledge vital for excelling in the dynamic Automotive Sector. Hands-on training and mentorship will be integral to their learning, ensuring they grasp not only theoretical but also practical aspects of the Automotive world.

This apprenticeship is designed to provide aspiring individuals with a strong foundation in business operations, administration, and organisational efficiency. Apprentices will be engaged in a blended learning approach, combining theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on experience.

The learning journey is structured to balance theory with practical experience, enabling students to apply their understanding in real-life childcare settings.

Apprentices will engage in an immersive learning experience, covering a wide range of topics including dental anatomy, infection control, patient care, radiography and chairside assistance.

The curriculum integrates classroom learning with hands-on training in a dental practice.

This apprenticeship is designed to equp apprentices with a solid foundation in engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and hands-on expertise in various engineering domains.

The course is a blend of theoretical understanding and practical application in an engineering setting.

The course will cover a comprehensive curriculum including hairstyling techniques, colouring methods, salon management and customer service.
